We ask all of our clients to be very respectful of the neighborhood. Some of our neighbors have lived on the block for decades and we want them to feel comfortable in their homes. Please do not park or turn around in their driveways. There are a few parking spots in front of the building and many more across Platt st on Cedar, next to the gigantic yellow brick church. We also have a small driveway you’re welcome to park in, just pull all the way forward.

I decided to start posting some of my sketches. This piece is intended to fit a leg, from above the knee to below ankle maybe even onto the foot, and wrap around the whole leg. This would make a great tattoo, and I would love to do it. Get in touch with me if interested, before its taken!

So I got a chance to meet a great guy named Eddie at Evander Preston Studios, there he introduced me to a great Florida pilsner beer he and Evander makes called Evander beer. I am very picky with the taste of beer although I will drink anything, If that makes any sense. This beer is strong, smooth and clean tasting, also and most important local! They run the most unique looking shop in Pass-A-Grille, not only is Pass-A-Grille a beautiful and must visit place in Florida but Evander`s studio is a great stop, it is filled with masks, paintings, sculptures, jewelry and much more, a museum to say the least. I am always impressed when meeting people doing something unique and extraordinary, thinking outside the box and not conforming to the norm. Only meeting eddie for a short but memorable moment I felt great energy from there studio and I hope to visit again soon. Go check them out and drink there beer! How to go about getting large scale tattoo work done..

When getting large tattoos it is important to understand the time put into this, for clients inquiring about getting large scale work here is a few things you should know. When getting a full sleeve you are looking at a minimum of 30 hours, depending on design you could be looking up to 40 hours or more. I recommend coming in at least once a month until finished, this keeps the artist inspired and keeps the tattoo looking fresh. Rather than coming in once a year and having to do touch ups, this costing you more money! When starting a large tattoo I recommend saving for at least a quarter of the tattoo, and coming in frequently and giving your self time to replenish your savings so you can come in often.

In reality when you start your first tattoo session I have already put in 5-10 hours into preparation for your piece, and I have not been paid for this. Thats not a bad thing, as long as you the client respect the artist and the work, so you are dedicated to the practice of saving money and getting tattooed frequently. Most of my clients set at least 2 or 3 appointments when they are ready to start there first session to keep the ball rolling. The practice of tattoo is both the client and the artist responsibility to dedicate there time and full effort into creating a unique piece of art. By applying this energy to your tattoo just gives you a better tattoo and a great experience. Hopefully this will be helpful for anybody wanting to start a large tattoo.

This was a fun project, she asked for a strawberry plant morphing into a squid, this is what I drew. The roots are turning into tentacles, there mostly on the inside of her arm. This was done in 2 sittings in a week. It will be awhile till I finish this, she just moved to pittsburgh.
